sometimes I am so strong
amazing, really
there should be a medal for weakness
and then I'd sweep
and now I sweep it all under the rug
none of this has an effect
see? nothing is painful
water off my back
and I am parched
quite the thing
still quite a marvelous and an effective thing,
acting is
and so I'll feel no pain
again -- I feel no pain
you see? now it is almost true
and you see how I'm that strong
I'm thinking of something shoved down and away --
but I'll stop for the sake of appropriateness
I'll admit I'm a coward but you must admit I'm a strong one
phenomenal, really
smile and nothing has a chance to soak in
and now I am parched.
