January '94 to May '98.
Assistant Sysop/Administrator/PC Tech, currently maintianing webserver in LINUX environment for WGMU radio at George Mason University. Testing, diagnosing, building and upgrading PCs from salvaged parts for office use. Serving as Chief Studio Engineer. Troubleshooting and repairing studio and production equipment, including tape machines and CD players. Maintaining all connections between equipment, board and transmitter, in addition to RealAudio encoder, and all equipment in two studios. Built, designed, and implemented a third audio production studio for joint use by WGMU Radio and Media authoring Center at George Mason University. Installed .WAV server for use in broadcasting application. Installation involved networking .WAV server to production room to accomodate resource sharing.
WPRZ Radio,

June '94 - August '95
Operated sound board as engineer for satellite programs, worked as on-air talent playing CD's and taped music and ads, managed and operated transmitter. Maintained acurate transmitter logs per FCC regulations.
Army Corps of Engineers,

Tested, diagnosed, and repaired PC's, tested and replaced disk drives, built printer cables, pulled Ethernet cable throughout entire facility for four hundred plus end-users. Installed Ethernet cards and PC/TCP software in users PC's and connected them to Ethernet. Installed routers and individual hookups for Ethernet connection.

Worked as data technician under contract to the Civilian Personel Information Systems of the U.S Army, converting data tapes from various out-of-house formats to standard in-house format while writing and documenting the SOP for the job.

System Analyst for direct mail house. Wrote tape conversion system in ALC in VSE/IPO environment. System converted out-of-house tapes to standard in-house format while delivering demographic analysis per customer request. Reduced processing time of 16 Million files from 27 hours to approximately 2.5 hours.
