Rose's Thorns

Caught in an ethical dillema, aforewarned.
My Mother speaks of her as a heathen,
As for my Father, he knows she's trouble.
But there's something about her quandry,
That intrigues my passions and gifts.
Our future conclusion is as yet to be seen,
However, I know still of more to come.
Not by chance, have our paths met.
Yet, I must wonder, to what higher purpose
have they crossed amidst life's chaos?
None else, have I met as quick,
For which there was a pre-fab hook
into our strong-willed consciences.
For it only took days in count of three,
